Gosh! There’s a few there I haven’t heard of – time to get reading. Thanks for the list. Particularly interested in Quiet as I’m very introverted….

Hi Thanks for this! I have added it to my wishlist on LibraryThings! 😀

I’ve read Quiet and the Worlds Strongest Librarian, both good. Here’s my recommendation “the winter of our disconnect” – a mum banishes all screens from her and her three teenagers home 🙂

      My recommendation is this: http://thehumanfaceofbigdata.com/
It is a (literally) BIG book and will open your eyes to Big Data and the influence it will have on the future, including the future of libraries!

Sorry, but I read Dewey a few years ago and could barely finish it – so sickly sweet American and not well-written…

My recommendation is Library 2020 http://www.amazon.com/books/dp/0810887142 by Joe Janes. I haven’t read it yet myself, but saw the author present at the American Association of Law Libraries conference in Seattle last week and now I have it on order.

I enjoyed reading Expect More : Demanding better libraries for today’s complex world by R. David Lankes
